We've come to appreciate and love you guys so much in the Lord, and have been built up and encouraged by both your ministries.
We thank God for you and for your transparency.
What the Lord is doing with you and John is both sobering and comforting. I use the word comforting because it's good to actually see (as we're watching from a distance as strangers, yet friends in the spirit) the Captain at work on the perfection of your faith. (and He has turned up the refining fire in our lives as well)
May the Lord's glory and purpose be fulfilled in our old age and may we finish well along with you.

I too have been missing you already! My mornings are often much encouraged by your posts, so I am glad this is a sabbatical and not an retirement :) You certainly won't lose this 'internet friend'(albeit a one-sided friendship - I think this is only the second time I've commented!)

I appreciate your wisdom and submissive spirit in taking this time with your husband; many blessings to you both!

I have missed you on this site already, Noel, but know that you are doing the right thing. Denny and I are praying for you and John and your family during this time and know that "He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion". May you have many sweet memories of this time together. We love you both!
