Wow! These are beautiful! I’ve never seen these before. What are they?
From my expert gardener friend:The plant is Scilla siberica which is a good naturalizer in beds, under trees or part shade areas. They reproduce easily and will, eventually, form drifts of color in spring. Deer and rabbits don’t like them, so that’s another bonus. Yellow daffodils look great with scilla
Thanks for this sweet post. I live in the southern hemisphere where we don’t have the wonderful parallel of new life from Easter and Spring. I made the connection a few years ago when a friend was living in London and wrote to me about her garden awakening after the Winter at Easter time. So it was lovely to read the same story here.
