A poem for Molly and Abraham after the ultrasound

After we saw the ultrasound pictures of Molly and Abraham’s girls, I mentioned that I was about to burst with emotion. Just picture words gushing all over the place.

That’s one of the sweet differences between my husband and me. In the midst of his explosion of joy, words come out also in a poem of grief, gladness and God.

  1. Double blessings, how my heart rejoices!!! Thank you, God!!!

The poem spoke to my heart too. I think that we all must learn the sorrow song before we truly understand that “malice has no place in [his] design.” All God’s ways are right and good even when our vision is clouded by tears! I am enjoying reading everyone’s excited comments about this blessed event! Talitha’s too!

  3. Almost 24 years ago, after 10 years of infertility and wanting a baby so much, my husband and I had an ultrasound like that! Twin girls, who now are grown up and are such a blessing! Congratuations to your family, Noel. I am a big fan of twins – blessings from God’s hand!
