How cold is it? 4

Sometimes in Minnesota it’s so cold that nothing works as it’s supposed to.

How cold might it be? Well, for instance, what in the world can you do for fun outside with the children when it’s  -10 degrees?

  1. I live in Alaska, where the kids go outside for recess until -20!

  2. Now we have snow, being from northern Canada, and lots of it! Which makes the cold a little more bearable … My kids love making snow angels, snowmen, snowforts, sledding, playing fox and goose (which you can only play in the snow), skating at the neighbourhood outdoor ice rink, building snow furniture, even using the sand toys from summer to bulldoze the snow :)

I love the bubbles idea … they’ll take some out today!

  3. I am LOVING this little series! :-) Keep it up – bubbles in the cold – I would have never thought of it!

  4. Woohoo! That’s cold! I’m lovin this new winter bubble idea! Our grandcuties will love it! (I just hope that when it melts some, the first person to venture out where the bubbles melted doesn’t go sliding on a soapy surface!) Weehaw!

  5. PS I like the new look of your blog!

  6. This is very interesting and very educational to learn about this! Thank you for sharing this with us about the bubble in the cold weather.
