How cold is it? 2
It’s all the way up to 7 degrees above zero this morning in Minneapolis. But keep in mind, it gets really cold in Minnesota. How cold?
Let’s just say this: Don’t be lazy and leave your groceries in the trunk of the car for later. Later will be too late.

OH, now that was funny. We get some good cold DAYS, here in the Seattle-area, but rarely enough to call it a season (although last year was a doozy!).
:-)
Thanks for the peek into Minnesota life!
I love these videos. They make my day.
Good Morning, Noel.
This lovely, frosty morn in Virginia,I had just put down my book for a break to read your post here re Minneapolis cold. I had just read (on p. 198) ‘He gives snow like wool; he scatters hoarfrost like ashes. He casts forth his ice like morsels; who can stand before his cold?’[Psalm 147:16-17] “The Pleasures of God,” John Piper.
Magnificent!
I cannot imagine the cold winters there.
Stay warm.

G’day Noel, and Happy Birthday to Dr. Piper too! I just love your updates. This one made me laugh. I’m in San Diego, CA, so I guess I have no idea what cold is. I cry when it’s 50 degrees….. Stay warm and blessed sister!
This is good, but it still doesn’t come close to how cold it gets in North Dakota where I am from. On the average, it is about 5 to 20 degrees colder–and then there is the wind that never stops. It makes the Twin Cities feel downright balmy.
How industrious is that! A nail driving banana!
I love it and will certainly remember this when it’s freezing and I can’t find the hammer!
Very interesting about using a banana as a hammer. I wouldn’t have thought that about that.
